Yes, absolutely. We believe anti-discrimination legislation tramples upon freedom of association and is often unfairly weaponised against faith-based groups and organisations.

Party Response:

We believe in school choice – a voucher system when the government funding follows the child to the school the parents choose. Under this model some schools would choose to continue or expand the program, while others may redirect the funds to other areas. Each parent would have the choice as to what sort of school they’d like to send their child to.

Will your party commit to reviewing the ‘Consent and Respectful Relationships Program’ to ensure gender ideology and all references to potentially harmful practices are removed?

Party Response:

Yes, we think the program is fundamentally a waste of taxpayer money, but more generally we do not believe schools should be instructed to teach gender ideology by the State – this has furthered a dangerous social contagion.

We would abolish the National Curriculum and adopt a decentralised school choice voucher system.

Yes, we oppose DEI programs and believe government departments are best when they are small, narrowly focused and hire based on merit.

No. We believe these practices should be limited to consenting adults only.

Party Response:

We do not believe vices should always be made into crimes. Gambling is a problem for many people, but most gamblers can engage responsibly. We consider advertising bans to be a basic violation of freedom of speech.

We do not have a policy on this issue specifically, but while we certainly do not think pornography should be accessible to children, we are sceptical of online age verification programs as we are concerned they may involve into compulsory Digital ID.

Party Response:

We believe our tax policies – dramatic income tax cuts, and income splitting for couples – will remove the financial burdens placed on young couples considering children. The current tax regime unfairly punishes stay-at-home parents and single income families.

What steps does your party propose to take to reduce homelessness in Australia? 

Party Response:

One of the main causes of homelessness is the housing crisis. We would reduce the demand for new homes by cutting immigration to more sustainable levels, and allow more new homes to be built in the private sector by cutting red and green tape and lowering taxes.

Will your party push for an inquiry into the connection between a legalised or decriminalised sex industry and human sex trafficking?

Party Response:

We believe history shows us that harsh prohibition empowers black markets. We would not necessarily oppose an inquiry where there is a correlation, but we are sceptical of the connection being proposed.

Will your party support an inquiry into annual spending on “Closing the Gap”, including an audit of privately controlled entities and an evaluation of all funded programs, to ensure they are effective in helping vulnerable Indigenous Australians?

Yes, we oppose government spending based on race, and think an audit into the Aboriginal Industrial Complex is well overdue.

Party Response:

We believe voluntary assisted dying for consenting adults of sound mind should be legal, but with appropriate safeguards to ensure those conditions are met. We do not have a policy on Telehealth specifically, but we are sceptical that a phone service would meet the appropriate standards we would require for consent in this area.

We believe that as with alcohol, the prohibition model has failed and cannabis should be legalised.

Yes, parental rights are paramount, particularly with the increased risks associated with gender ideology being pushed in schools.

Given the current levels of poverty and humanitarian need around the world, and the concern regarding aid budget being used ideologically, does your party plan to increase foreign aid as a percentage of the Federal Budget to meet desperate international needs, targeting it where it’s practically required, ensuring it’s not influenced by ideology?
