GAP is family and population friendly. We will support the Australian birth rate by policies to support families – to make housing more affordable by cutting immigration so it does not overrun infrastructure; to make cost of living more affordable including reducing the cost of electricity by ending the massive taxpayer subsidies for renewable energy and using gas fired generators to produce cheaper electricity; by policies to support stay at home mothers who are looking after children; through improving the health of the Australian population generally by requiring that all pharmaceutical products including vaccines are properly safety tested and removing dangerous and harmful products from sale.

GAP will work to stamp out homelessness by supporting a cutting of immigration to reduce the upward pressure on housing prices. We will also look to support new and novel cheaper and more available accommodation for the homeless, and to reduce the cost of living especially by policies including abandoning current Net Zero policy in order to cut the cost of living through having cheaper electricity, fuel, and therefore food. We will also work to encourage people to move to the rural areas where housing is potentially more affordable, and land is less expensive.

GAP would support an inquiry into annual spending on “Closing the Gap” between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians, including an audit of privately controlled entities and an evaluation of all funded programs, to ensure they are effective in helping vulnerable Indigenous Australians. Our support would be on the proviso that any such inquiry would have to be looking to provide value and results to the Australian taxpayers for the large expenditure they already make on indigenous matters.

The GAP does not have a plan to increase foreign aid as a percentage of the Federal Budget. The GAP has been extremely concerned at the level of waste and irresponsibility revealed in the US by the DOGE committee. GAP aims to ensure that all expenditure as provided by taxpayers, is properly accounted for, efficiently used on worthy projects, including of foreign aid.
